Hi Sushi - Bakersfield: Exceptional Sushi Experience Awaits You

If I could leave more stars I would. The food here is always exceptional (props to the chefs!). The lady who mostly runs the place (she's there every time I come) is the sweetest and always so accommodating but today was over the top! Her and the other waitress went out of their way to make my daughter's 21st birthday dinner a memorable event. She let us bring in a cake and supplied paper plates and silverware for us which she did not have to do. Thank you guys so much! You will always be our favorite sushi place in town!

All I can say is love love love. My fiancé and I came here tonight for date night. We've dined in twice now and had pick up orders a few times. We usually get the lunch special but since it was later in the day we had the dinner special. It's 3 rolls and 1 appetizers for $38. What a steal right!? And it's delicious We also got another appetizer and a spider roll. Everything was super yummy. The appetizers were baked mussels and monkey brains. They are so freaking delicious. The monkey brains are crunchy and flavorful and the mussels are super flavorful. The rolls we got were the spider, lobster roll, ex girlfriend and rattlesnake. The environment is really great the waitress is very nice and attentive. Definitely recommend.

Hi Hushi excellent sushi at the price that is hard to beat in this town. There is only one other place that is cheaper and close to the great deals. However, Hi Sushi wins in the end. The food is just that much better. The staff is very friendly to its customers. Although not the most impressive of the sushi restaurants in Bakersfield, the atmosphere and seating arrangements are organized and clean.

My favorie place to go been going here since they opened there doors. The Sushi is sooooo good. But don't take my word you have to try it yourself then post about it.

I waited to rate until our second visit. I gave 5 stars across the board. The yYellowtail AND Tuna sashimi are to die for. The fresh Wasabi is Honestly everything thing we had was excellent. The mango tango best I've had. Tall Asahi was fair priced. My new fave in Bako!

Always come here, never disappointed. Erin our server was so nice, food was 10/10 like always. Really clean, great food.

The lunch and dinner special is what sets this place apart. You get a huge amount of quality sushi for the amount you pay and will never leave hungry. More likely you will leave with a doggie bag. The albacore tuna roll is my favorite and has never disappointed. The staff is very friendly and does a great job with refilling drinks.

Great lobster roll, but the chicken and beef teriyaki combination was way off, beef was way over cooked and tough . Service was great. Prices were reasonable.
